“The oversized windows face the channel and we enjoyed the awesome scenery from morning til dark! Weather for our stay was exceptional with sun and 70s. The two porches were great for sunning and watching the many birds and other animals around the property. Kitchen was well appointed and beds were comfy! We’d definitely stay again and highly recommend this property due to it’s location and charm (the local art throughout the cottage is so interesting!)”

“Beautiful home on the Gastineau channel with the tide rising and falling and eagles flying in for salmon run. Loved the large rooms, great windows, and Paula was responsive to our questions and needs. Very close to town and to all attractions. Everyone had their space. Highly recommend this home”

“We spent most of our time out exploring Juneau so we didnt get to enjoy the home much but the views were amazing from the deck.”

“Perfect for our family with small kids! The views and access to the river are amazing. It’s very centrally located as well. The children loved the rafters each day and the well stocked books, games, and play space. The house was well stocked and had ample space for storage of food and luggage. Host was very responsive and took great care with the amenities. Coffee pot and an additional Keurig were perfect for our family breakfasts of decaf and full-caf drinkers. This is our 3rd trip to Juneau...

“Shangri-La met our needs for a couple days in Juneau. The whole unit is very big. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom is great, and I loved that it had a washer/dryer. The sitting area is just ok but it could use a chair. Also, it was not made clear in the amenities that it does not have a regular stove and oven. It has a double cooktop you need to get out of a drawer and a single burner cooktop. They do not heat up like a regular stove. They do have a pretty big toaster...

“The chalet was the absolute perfect location from which to explore Juneau and all it has to offer WITHOUT having to fight the hordes of cruise ship passengers downtown. It’s a perfect blend of modern and rustic cabin with detailed touches like a snack basket and welcome chocolates on your pillow at arrival. Every detail has been thought of here. ”
