Older hotel, a little dated but was clean and had hot water. We were there to attend a wedding and it was perfect for what we needed. Frig & micro in room. It was very quiet. Much less than other hotels in the area such as Gun Lake Casino.

The owners clearly take pride in running this hotel. The hotel and rooms were spotless and are well maintain. The breakfast options were healthy and the area was very clean. Normally 2 star hotels across America are poorly run and gross but this place was run like a 5 star hotel

We were pleasantly surprised by how clean the room was. You could tell management takes pride in their property and cares about the details, right down to providing a shoe tray to keep the carpets clean. The room is dated but so well-kept it feels new.

I have enjoyed a stay at Budget Inn with my family. Room was clean, free parking was available and breakfast in the morning was provided. Lake Michigan is 30 minutes drive away; 20 minutes driving through fields and forrest and 10 minutes driving on highway to the most popular tourist attraction town. So if you don’t mind to drive a little bit you get very reasonable accommodations.
