It's an old retirement home, so the rooms and all the property is originally made to serve the original purpose. Clean and functional rooms. Good basic breakfast, but served in the basement. If you can't handle a little hospital-like environment, I don't recommend this for you.

Fantastic place to stay with nice rooms, good showers, free WiFi. Great location 3 minutes from the Viking ferry terminal and the 4 tram which takes you quickly to the city centre from just outside. Really nice and helpful reception team and the FREE sauna before breakfast was great for chatting to others and getting tips. Would be so good to be free also in the evening after a long day sightseeing. Looking forward to returning next year for my 4th visit
