“Borneo Tropical Rainforest Resort provided one of the highlights of my Sarawak stay. Breakfast and dinner were both included in my price, and both were incredibly tasty. The resort offers and train/boat ride through the property, which is beautiful and loads of fun. The waterpark has a couple of fun slides. “Good: Friendly staffs, Running reliable hot showers, nice interior design, bed comfort was good/average, great location next to mall & restaurants, bottled water & towels were provided, no curfews 24-7. Bad: Almost all rooms have no windows (& this was not mentioned in room description), toilet bowl & shower walls needs proper scrubbing, smart TV remote was not functioning, no toiletaries (no soap, shampoo etc). “Staff super nice and helpful, location is ideal in Miri, bed is comfortable. That said, the hotel shows his age and would need refurbishing urgently, especially the bathrooms. I was assigned a room that I did not like at first, but thankfully they were kind enough to give me a better looking one and it turned out to be quiet and comfortable. ”

“The hotel is in a strip mall shopping complex which is convenient if you want/need to buy food/snacks and also to do laundry. The place is about a 25 minute walk from the airport — no sidewalks though. It’s adequate for a night stay since it’s close to the airport but not near any other activities you may want to do in Miri walking wise. The check in/out was good and the wifi works.
