A little out of town but transportation is cheap so that's largely irrelevant, otherwise its only a 15 minute walk to town. Staff are great, very helpful and very friendly. The breakfast they cook is some of the best Sri Lankan food we have had. It’s up a little hill just outside of Kandy, but still only a short 10 minute walk into town. It’s very clean, very quiet, and very peaceful. The food was fantastic, particularly the delicious and large portioned breakfast. The main member of staff was absolutely wonderful, really helpful and friendly. The air-conditioning works really well and we had a fantastic night sleep. The top floor can see the big Buddha and the view is very good. The hotel facilities are excellent and clean, there is plenty of hot water bathing, the staff is friendly, the boss is very welcoming, and there are juices and towels when we arrive.
