No hot water so I was the only one in the family who was able to get a less than 5 minute shower. The bathroom door handle kept falling off and the smell of cigarettes and weed so bad. The elevators didn’t work either so was hard to hang out with friends and family due to having rooms across the whole hotel. I’m unsure what needs to be done but it was hard to get any sleep due to the smell. would love to stay here again but would like to have money back from this stay, it wasn’t a good experience at all and we look forward to this event each year. The room we had was excellent. It was clean, well equipped, nicely set up for reading, or just hanging out, as well as being very comfortable for sleeping. Great breakfast. The dining room in the building is very good. Every time I have checked in to this facility I have been impressed by the desk person, efficient, but also with positive personality. Place is quite dated. Mid century modern would be the description. Colors, flooring, bed linens, lamps all scream “welcome back to the 1970’s”. It’s hard to find a place that doesn’t have usb charging points somewhere, so bring your chargers. Coffee in room, but no sweetener. It is very clean and inexpensive so this is a good trade off. Except for the age the place is well maintained.
