Jun 26, 2010 #### the perfect vacation home My husband and I stayed in Kauai for 4 nights and could not have picked a better place to stay! We stayed at the canal cottage. Paul keeps a well maintained property and our cottage was clean and very tidy. It was spacious, well stocked with all the kitchen gadgets you could need, the beds were so comfortable and the best part was two full bathrooms! Paul and his wife are wonderful hosts; they attended to every detail from bed linens and towels to beach supplies and laundry facilities. The grounds were very private and we felt like we were at home. The bbq grill was great to have to have the option to dine in. Paul's wife also makes homemade indian dishes that you can order. Unfortunately we did not have a chance to try it but I am sure it would have been wonderful! Our only wish is that we could have stayed longer! The location is absolutely perfect... right in the middle of the east coast of the island makes the drive north or south easy. I would not want to stay in any other location.
