Better than description

This was one of the rare stays where the description does not do justice and and the review rating is totally justified.They have everything you need and the location is perfect to explore the island. I would stay here again without hesitation!

Great location!!

We recently stayed here during our trip to Kauai and overall had a lovely experience. The location was perfect—centrally located, making it easy to explore all sides of the island. The property was clean and had all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. While the beach gear (umbrella and chairs) was a bit rusty and worn, it still worked well enough for our beach days. The beds were Tempur-Pedic, which some might love, but we found them a bit uncomfortable. We let our kids take the bedroom while we slept on the pullout couch ourselves. Despite these small things, the place suited our needs and made a great home base for our trip.

Kauai Comfort

Very comfortable and clean condo. Everything you would need to be carefree. Parking pass was a huge plus. Friendly host and great location. We enjoyed our stay so very much!

Excellent Stay

We will be back! Loved our stay! Will return in the future! Jennie the host was extremely responsive and very helpful, both before we got there & while we were there. She was very helpful & fast to respond.The boogie boards, beach chairs, and snorkel equipment provided was awesome & very helpful. We enjoyed that our unit was extremely close to 1 of the pools & hot tub.Very central locstion, having Coconut Marketplace right there & a bunch of restaurants close by was great as well. Thorouggly enjoyed our stay and we will be back!

Had minor issue with the checkin but quickly resolved. Owner is very responsive. Condo is fully renovated and clean; the bottle of wine was a nice surprise! Nice location, steps from the beach and shops. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Really nice condo. We appreciated the beach umbrella, coolers, and beach towels made available to us. Comfy beds! The couch pullout mattress was even comfy too! Very close walk to marketplace with many shops. And the beach is super close too. I recommend staying here!

Great little touches

Plenty of towels, great AC, big balcony. Little touches didn’t go unnoticed. Great beach gear. Laundry facility just down the stairs. Would stay again!

The property was great. The host was attentive and responsive to questions, super friendly. There was a guidebook of things to do in the area and suggestions, referrals for areas to go to and for dining. If I were to return to Kauai I would stay there again. I definitely recommend

very nice centrally located condo

The condo was very well outfitted including the kitchen. It was located in a complex but noise was not a problem.. Wailua is a nice location between the north and south shore attractions. Our dealings with the owner were brief but pleasant. She had worked hard to make the condo as attractive and pleasant as possible.. The rental worked out to be about $250/night but this is Hawaii and we could have paid a lot more for a place that was not as nice as this.I would stay here again.

Two adults and two tweens enjoyed our stay

We stayed with our 10- and 12-year olds for nearly a week and were happy to come back to this condo after each day's adventures. The supplies we needed for beachgoing, cooking, sleeping, and cleaning were all at hand. Parking next to the condo, doing laundry with the app, and navigating around the adjacent Coconut Marketplace were simple. Navigating from Kapa'a to points of interest everywhere on the island was also a breeze. The only noise that irritated us came not from the A/C (thank goodness for it) or nearby traffic but from the crowing roosters--but you can't escape that anywhere in Kauai! This was a very calm, reliable, and uncomplicated place to stay as a family of four.

Great Location

We like Plantation Hale because it is centrally located. We have family on the North Shore and in Kapaa and we love to visit the beaches and trails on the South and West sides of the island. The condo is right next to the Coconut Market Place and a great big ABC store which sells food and gifts and necessities. There is a trail by the beach that goes both directions, turn right you can walk to Lydgate and turn left and you can walk to Kapaa and further. The only downside to the location is the the noise of sirens. There are lots of sirens due to car accidents and ambulances, everyday. You will hear sirens anywhere you are close to the main road not just at Plantation Hale. This is our third year staying at Plantation Hale, and the second year in this condo. We spand 5 weeks on the island and have found that this condo is afordable for long stays. We will return.

Okay but not great.

Okay location except for homeless people across street. Washer dryer no longer coin operated. Must download app to use. Beds, pillows not great. Couldn’t get tv in bedroom to work. Tv in living room was fine.

Perfect Place for a couple or a few friends!

Everything was clean and inviting and we really enjoyed our stay. It was delightful to have a pool & jacuzzi right there, as well as a BBQ (although we didn’t end up using it). It was a surprisingly quiet place, even though there were plenty of other people around. The only real noise we heard inside were the AC units and every once in awhile some traffic noise. The bedroom AC is a quieter unit (nice!) and kept us very comfortable each night. The living room AC seems dated and struggles to keep up with the summer temperatures but it’s still much cooler than outside! 😊 The kitchen provides basic amenities plus and it was great to have the ability to do a lot of our own cooking to save money. We would definitely love to stay here again in the future.

Nice place to stay, with some minor issues

We enjoyed our stay. The place is clean, beds are comfortable, it has a lot of material such as coolers, ice packs, beach chairs, snorkeling gears and a boogie board. A pool and a spa were broken. You can use other pools and spas, but they were crowded (probably because of the other broken pool). Unfortunately, there was a baseball team at the same time. They were not very kind with us. They were taking a lot of space in the pool (not really relaxing). Also, they were cooking on the barbecue from 4pm to 8pm for the whole week. We asked to share the barbecue but we felt that they didn't want to make some space for us. We probably did not have luck with the baseball team and the broken pool. It might have been different on other dates.

Great condo, beautiful view, nice pool. The location is perfect to explore the north and south of the island. I will return! The condo is on a corner so loved the side windows. Enjoyed the kitchen island. Big living room area. Living room sofa bed comfortable. Ice packs in the freezer, very convenient.

Nice place good location

Place was nice and centrally located; not very long to get anywhere. A couple minor issues nut not a big deal. Host was great and very communicative. Combos for door and pool are a bit too long, but no big deal. Super close to coconut market place and a few dining options. Sleeping giant had tasty food and lava lava for their view and mai tais. Only downside is there are no sunsets here, wrong side of the island. Not the resorts fault obviously.

5 nights - 2 adults and one teenager

The condo was very nice and very clean. The central location in Kapaa was good to visit all the island. The two separate AC units were great to keep us cool during the night. Loved the very close proximity to the beach and Coconut Market. We rented bikes at the Market and enjoyed the nice bike path along the coast. We loved Kauai and would return! Thank you Jennie
