The best time to visit Kateriana, Crete, is during the shoulder seasons of May, early June, or September and early October.

These months offer pleasant weather, with warm temperatures superb for exploring the island's beaches and historical sites without the intense heat and larger crowds of mid-summer. You'll find the sea warm enough for swimming, and the natural beauty of Crete is at its peak with blooming wildflowers in spring or a golden hue in early autumn.
