“Das Zimmer war sauber, jedoch mit Teppichboden, was bei uns Heuschnupfen ausgelöst hat. Zudem waren vor dem Fenster viele Spinnen und Tierchen. Sonst war alles gut.”

“Schere is a very old brand, good quality adequate BFand good cooking in the restaurant. We had a room with balkony overlooking red roof tops, we were smack in the middle of the city in the pedestrian precinct. To be recommended. ”

“We were particularly impressed with the breakfast and dinner, due the beautifully renovated dining room, high food quality and outstanding service! Don’t miss out on the made-to-order eggs benedict off the breakfast menu, as it is exceptional! In addition, we appreciated the friendliness and professionalism of all hotel staff. While this long-standing hotel is under new ownership, the focus seems to be on maintaining and enhancing its unique charm and character.”

“Das Gebäude war von außen in einem sehr schlechten Zustand ! Zimmer war ok Betten sehr klein. Sauberkeit ok, Staub auf der Kante vom Bett ! Dachrinne undicht hat laut getropft ! Personal aber sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit !”

“Rent og pænt indvendigt, ikke megen service at få, morgenmad etc selvom der på siden reklameres med både bar, restaurant etc er dette absolut fraværende (ligesom personale) synes måske at det er over-fo at kalde det et hotel, vel nærmere pensionat”

“durch einen Buchungsfehler wurde unser Zimmer anderweitig vergeben ; der Mitarbeiter hat sich aber mehrfach entschuldigt, uns in eine bessere Kategorie gebucht und 2 kühle Getränke auf´s Haus spendiert ; da sowas durchaus mal passieren kann (alle Menschen machen mal Fehler) und die Reaktion vorbildlich war, gibt es weiterhin 5 Sterne ! Danke dafür !”

“Sød og venlig vært som blev oppe efter åbningstid da vi først ankom sent til hotellet. Han taler godt engelsk. Gode senge og billig overnatning kun 12 min fra motorvejen.”

“A delightful room (Room 4), airy and neat. We appreciated the table in the room where we could eat meals. The floors were spotless. It was helpful that there were two WC, each with a shower, and that shower gel was provided. There were several grocery stores very close, including a supermarket open until 10:00pm. Do follow the German custom of leaving windows tipped open by default. Please watch out to close the shower door in such a way that water doesn't run onto the floor.”
