Great value, close to Universal Studios Japan (on train stop or 15min walk). Our family of 5 was very comfortable there, it was clean, spacious, and the kitchen area and laundry were great to have. Automatic check in process was smooth (we provided our passport info as requested ahead of time) and the included set breakfast was large (western or Japanese option) which is great since we travelled with tweens/teens.

I'd recommend The Rise to anybody, as long as they're happy staying outside of the tourist spots. The apartments are modern and spacious, and the onsen is wonderful.

The room was much bigger than my friends and I expected! We were pleasantly surprised to find that what we thought would be a standard hotel room was actually an apartment with a full kitchen and balcony. Having all that extra space was amazing! The location was also very convenient, especially for visiting Universal Studios, with a train station nearby. I would definitely recommend staying here!

This is a unique hotel without a front desk, but it didn't stop us from having a smooth experience. They we're able to accommodate our early arrival through electronic communications in advance. The lobby portals are easy to use and the rooms functioned great. Having a washing machine helped us pack fewer clothes. The train station is about 10 minutes away on foot and super easy to navigate for beginners.

We love the property and amenities. It was very hard to checkin, due to that Expedia or the hotel did not give us a code to checkin and to get into the property. A nice gentleman who works there help us through the process. Remember that this hotel had no front desk.
