The hotel has a lot of equipment sitting in front of the property which makes look messy and dirty. There were a lot of tubs and and and containers that look like they have been there for a while. The hotel looks dated and used. The elevator wasn't working when we arrived (kept tripping the breaker). The ice machine was broken so you had to ask the front desk worker for some ice and it was limited. The hotel is right off IH-44 so it's easy to access and it's close to downtown. There's a Denny's by the entrance as well. The room was clean but smelled musty, and like a wet dog. The tile around the shower was lose and kept making a weird nose when you stepped on it. The front desk worker was very nice and helpful. They had several coolers with cold drinks, water bottles, and a variety of snacks available to take for free for the riders that were going to do the Hotter'n Hell ride.
