The host was fantastic, after our GPS took us to the wrong location, she took the time to give us detailed directions over the phone to ensure we found the cabin which was very appreciated. “What a wonderful place! As all guests have noted, the cottage is extremely comfortable and beautiful. On cold winter days the wood stove (and plentifully supplied wood) keeps the house cosy, and the vast glass front to the cottage allows one to feel you are sitting in the woods. In December it was extremely quiet, we didn't see anyone else nearby or on the lake - making for a very remote and relaxing experience. We were able to walk on the frozen lake and along snowy roads, as well as cook in……

“The place was spotless and the location was great. Unfortunately, the mattresses for the bunk beds were thin so my daughter didn’t sleep very well. There were a few other small things that could be improved such as replacing the toaster with one that works and fixing the toilet paper holder in the bathroom.But the host was responsive when I messaged that the door entry code didn’t come through.”

“A cozy cottage with a well-stocked kitchen, spotless bedsheets and towels, and an inviting outdoor area. We couldn't make use of the patio furniture due to the weather, but did enjoy the view and the sounds of the rushing water. The large covered porch came in very handy as we could still sit outside and use the barbeque while it rained. We appreciated having chopped wood on hand for the stove, and also the Ontario Parks permit. We did manage to go hiking in Arrowhead one of the days. Thank you……

“We absolutely loved our time here. The property itself was amazing! Well kept, stunning views and lots to do without having to leave. The host was great, easy to communicate with and seems to have thought of it all. We loved the small touches she added that made the property super charming. “What neat place, lots of trails beauitful sandy beach and direct access to the lake. community firepit and a really wonderfully landscaped area. so many attractions to check out close by and great pizza at the general store. Golfing was a nice afternoon out and it was all around a perfect getaway!”
