"The cabin was clean and we got to meet Bill on our first day there, he was very nice.We had an encounter with a couple of scorpions and a large spider (in the shower), but, no other problems.We would stay there again.Thank you Bill!"

"Very quaint location. The main level was very spacious and well decorated. The listing says 4 baths but one of the baths was really a half bath on the first floor. Having only two baths upstairs was not ideal. The deck was nice, but the deck"

"This place is incredible. It feels like home as soon as you walk through the door. The owner is incredibly kind and accommodating. We rode out a hurricane while there and the house is as sturdy as it gets. The property is the highlight of the house. The grounds are beautiful and were great for our kids to feel like they were on an adventure."

"This place is absolutely perfect. The location, travel to activities, cleanliness, and amenities were perfect. We also loved how friendly the staff was and how they left games and snacks for us to enjoy in the common area. We lost power over one night due to storms in the area and the staff did everything possible to ensure we were safe and comfortable during that time. Couldn’t ask for a better experience!"
Quiet Getaway cozy cabin directly on Lake Martin

"We had a great time at this cabin. We got to rest and relax. We loved the fact that it was all wilderness across the water. We saw a couple of bald eagles and I got a crappie.The bed was comfortable. This cabin has everything needed for a good time.OC was very nice. He came over on the 2nd day to see if there was anything we needed. We were fishing, and he gave us some tips as well as some of the history of the the area.Thanks for letting us stay there OC."
The Country Hideaway with private in-ground pool

"We had wonderful stay at this country home! The home was clean, we enjoyed the beautifully scenery, and exactly as described. The rooms were comfortable, and we had plenty of space for the family. Enjoyed the coffee bar and felt right at home. We survived a wedding and hurricane this weekend, only lost power of part of the night and early morning. The location was perfect for exploring the area, and close to the local wedding event we attended.The host was really nice, responsive, and went above and beyond to ensure we had what we needed. I appreciated the good communication and thoughtful hospitality.I’d happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a nice county home to stay."
