Whinlatter Forest with its fantastic bike tracks and walks is less than 5 miles away. Or why not walk down to the Theatre by the Lake (1 mile) and enjoy a talk or film? You can also hop on an open top bus and take in a day tour of the Lakes hopping on and off at your leisure.
