Waterfront - Private Lagoon - in Park on the Ocean side -beach, pool

Direct waterfront on a private, saltwater, tidal lagoon. Snorkel in safety as the lagoon is stocked with tropical fish and lobsters - no stingrays, no sharks, no jellyfish, no crocs or alligators! The lagoon goes down to 40 feet and was once used for training by the Navy Seals in the early 1960's! prior to being developed as a condo and marina.
Two pools on the property. A jetty goes out to the sea on the Atlantic side where you can watch sunrises and sunsets. You may fish from the jetty. Slip rentals are also available from the Harbor Master at Kawama Yacht Club.

Great location!

Kawama villa's are located in a quiet area; with a lagoon, 2 pools, ocean/beach. We used bikes and kayaks, and enjoyed some "seniors" activities, too.. Sunsets were beautiful.

Fantastic place in a quiet yacht club with a lagoon just outside the back porch for swimming, snorkelling, and kayaking. Accommodation was great and worked very well for us (2 adults, 3 children). Would absolutely stay there again. Highly recommended!

Easy to get to everything. Wonderful unit. Well stocked, clean & comfortable. Bedrooms both upstairs so be prepared for that. Made it difficult with bad knee but bathroom on each floor made it work.

Great Birthday Get away!

Clean, great location. Loved the screened in porch with a view of the Lagoon. Enjoyed the pool and other outdoor spaces. The house was well equipped.Several good restaurants near by. My favorite was Snooks. I ordered grilled Mahi Mahi, excellent. Great for hanging out to each the sun set and listen to music.Nice place to stay.

Property owner was exceptional to deal with and the property was very clean and cozy! The home had all the comforts of home. Enjoyed the pool, lagoon and my husband loved fishing off the jetty !!

We stayed a week in the wonderful resort at Kawama. The lagoon was right in front of our unit. There were beautiful tropical fish in the lagoon as well as tarpons and lobster! The 2 pools were heated and delightful to swim in. We love walking out to the end of the jetty each evening to watch the sunset. It was a fantastic place to spend a week and soak up the sun.

Key’s Vacation

This place had it all!! Easy access to the lagoon, pools, and a short walk or bike ride to the beach and jetty. Our family loved fishing and watching the sunrise/set at the jetty. The place was clean and enough space for our family of four. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect vacation! ☀️💦🐠

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The host was extremely responsive and went out of his way to ensure we had a good experience. We went on a couple of day tours (snorkeling, fishing, etc.) while we were in town, but the best part of our vacation was coming back to this amazing spot to relax! We will be back, hopefully sooner than later! Our family loved this destination location!

Amazing place to stay

This condo was the perfect place to stay for the 4 of us. The lagoon is literally steps away from the front door and has lots of awesome fish to watch and feed. Tons of things to do around the area and everything is clean and neat. Will deff be back.

Excellent Location

Our stay was pleasant. The unit had everything you need when away from home. The furnishings and beds are very comfortable. The unit is located across from a beautiful lagoon filled with a variety of fish. The pool is large and adjacent to a tiki hut for gathering. I highly recommend this unit. The owner is responsive to questions as well.

Safe location with many amenities

2-story condo in a gated community with 2 pools. There is a private oceanfront area for watching the sunset. Condo has a wonderful screened-in porch.

Relaxcation

Incredibly relaxing 8 night stay. Ideal location in Key Largo and in Kawama. Very clean and homey Condo right next to the Lagoon (very cool history) and close to the pool. Everything on hand to stay right where we were, or easy access to go out and about. Some tropical storm activity got in the way of diving, but didn’t impact our enjoyment of the property. Charming beach eclectic decor, bringing me back to my childhood summers at a beach cottage in ME.

Peaceful Retreat

House was just as described. It was in the perfect location with supermarket and restaurants nearby. The house was super clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. My husband and son enjoyed fishing from the jetty and my daughter enjoyed sunning by the pool. We also enjoyed snorkeling in the lagoon and the beach. We're so happy we found this treasure. Can't wait to visit again!

The home is as advertised, well equipped kitchen with everything you need. As others have commented the unit is a little dated but it was clean and comfortable and in a good location. We met a few permanent residents who were all very friendly and welcoming. Check in was simple and the guard at the front gate was friendly..

Florida Keys vacation

Location was perfect. Close to pool and a view of the lagoon. Condo was clean, kitchen was stocked, we had extra towels and beach towels. Furnishings and beds were very comfortable. Loved having 2 full bathrooms and secondary bedroom with 2 beds. Good location too. We drive to Key West, not too far from Miami. We drove to Everglades. Lots to do in Key Largo too. Snorkeling, kayaks, great restaurants

What a lovely place. We had two teenagers in our group and they had access to the salt water lagoon, pools, fishing. They had a blast. The location was perfect. The place was very quaint and clean. We would definitely go back!
