Very clean. Bathroom could use an update. If staying in Ambrosia, note that the light and sounds take some getting used to. You have the light from the pool area (we were fine with it but if you are sensitive to light this is not the room for you) and the ceiling fan and air conditioning unit are fairly loud. The first night we were awake every hour but it got better. However the lights from the pool and outdoor areas made our room bright all night. I asked if anything could be done they said no. We had the sheers and curtains closed and could still read at midnight with no other lights on. If we had booked longer we would have had to leave. You could not sleep through the night. Each day of vacation started out with very little sleep. Further the property next door is right up against the rooms and trash cans with bottles being dumped and compacted or broken up, carts and equipment rolling over pavers from next door or this property started between 5am and 5:30am each day. The inability to get any rest on our vacation totally ruined the trip. For what we paid we expected to get rest on our trip. My inquiries were met with either there isn’t any thing we can do or at my insistence the virtual innkeeper would let the owners know. We never needed a car the whole time. Everything was within walking distance or a short drive. Plenty of restraunts and things to do. The residence was beautiful and warm. We were very comfortable and functional. The hosts were exemplary - communications and response to questions was great and the property was immaculately maintained. Based on our previous stay, we were disappointed there was no breakfast buffet/coffee.
