I enjoyed both the location and the charm of the Hood River Hotel. As the hotel is over a hundred years old it's layout and amenities brought out feelings in me from a bygone era! The breakfast that I had was delightful with a hearty selection on the menu and it was tasty! Unfortunately, trying to get a morning cup of coffee in my room was impossible as trying to brew a cup was a challenge that 'bested' me! Finally, the broken roller switches on the electric cords to the wall mounted lamps, on each side of the bed, worried me as the building is old and the egress window would have been difficult to use in an emergency. The staff were very helpful and they were polite! All in all I would enjoy staying in the hotel again! Jim

Had a nice stay. Parking can be challenging at times but there’s the street, if you’re ok with that. I would stay here again. Staff was extremely nice and helpful.

Stayed here for two nights with my family because it was conveniently located near Western Oregon, where our son was competing in the Oregon Rugby HS Championship. The rooms were beautiful and thought out with views of the Willamette River. Right off Main St. with lots to see and do. Staff was amazing. The free breakfast was a plus. Good variety of options to choose from. Loved that you could reserve the hot tub and relax without being bothered by others. Will definitely stay here again.

A modern waterfront hotel in a perfect location with a wonderful staff. It’s within walking distance of many restaurants, breweries, and downtown. The only downside is parking, as there is no dedicated lot. Street parking is available, and valet is an option if you arrive early before it fills up. Would stay here again.

I had a phenomenal time relaxing at skamania lodge. Grounds and the building were beautiful, I loved the trails too. Special shout out to the housekeeping staff and Trevor at the front desk who found the things I left behind and mailed them to me. Will definitely stay again!
