"fabulous artchitecture"
I love the exterior and some of the interior architecture of this fabulous old building. The decoration could be much more tastefully done. Despite the lovely architectural details, the actual rooms are rather ordinary, but could be extraordinary with a bit of taste and work.

Citadines St Mark’s London

"Good value for the money"
Those looking to stay at Citadines St Mark's need to understand that it is an apartment-style hotel and not a spa/resort. My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Citadines St Mark's for 9 nights while we toured the city. We paid a modest (for London) amount and received a spacious 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment with a kitchen. Although modest, the apartment was clean and very spacious. The rooms at this apartment-style hotel are cleaned weekly, but staff were helpful in assisting with extra towels, toilet paper, arranging for cabs, etc. The neighborhood is busy, but safe and clean with a nearby hospital and university. The hotel faces a busy street which is somewhat noisy but also hosts a number of city transit bus routes. This hotel is not adjacent to London's world-famous landmarks, but the Angel Tube station is a 10 minute walk from the hotel and the tube system will get you quickly and safely around the city. The only negatives were that the wireless Internet at the hotel was quite slow and would often disconnect. Also, for tourists looking to stay in the heart of the action, a connection or two on the tube is necessary. My wife and I both enjoyed the hotel and would stay there again.

"Quirky place to stay in a great location"
If you're looking for something different this is a great place to stay. Some of the finishings were a little tired but on the whole it was a great concept.

Pocket Guide: Kings Cross St. Pancras, London Pet-friendly Hotels

With the Eurostar and many metro and train lines at St Pancras and King's Cross stations, most people know the bustling area as a transportation hub. Thanks to a redevelopment, it is now much more. Restaurants, galleries, and a street market have opened near Regent's Canal. St Pancras also has Europe's longest oyster bar, and don't forget the Harry Potter Store at King's Cross Platform 9 3/4.
