Currently there is extensive work on the adjoining Castle Rheinfels, but this was not disruptive to the hotel. Lovely breakfast buffet is served in the restaurant with fabulous views of the Rhine. "It was hard to organize the trip because it said check in was only from 11-5 pm. And whenever I send a message thru Expedia, they didn’t answer my question- so we had to rush to check in before 5. But I don’t think it mattered since the check in was a few blocks away at a different hotel. All very confusing. The rooms were lovely and bed was comfy. There is a common room/kitchen which looks like you can use if you want "
