I loved this wonderful quirky hotel. It has so much character and charm! I felt completely at home in my cosy room, which was much larger than I expected. The location and staff are great. I would absolutely stay here again!

Neat and spacious apartments right on the Royal Mile, walkable from several restaurants, shops, and attractions. Having a kitchen with all the necessary appliances and cutlery, and a washer/dryer was a huge benefit! Communication was clear and detailed, and everything was set up in advance to help us have a smooth experience. Luggage storage is available on the first floor. The property is well-secured with several layers of doors with access codes. One minor nitpick is all rooms within the unit had auto-closing doors, including the living room - this was a little inconvenient when moving around the unit.

Best Location across from Cathedral st Giles. In the heart of everything. This apartment has everything you need for a sightseeing stay. Can be noisy at night with crowds but if you choose to stay here you should expect it. My only suggestion is to replace the mattress. It feels worn and saggy. Joivy was a great company to work with. Great hotel. The only negative comment I have is the carpet was filthy.
