“We stayed a week & had our dog with us, were made most welcome by the owner & staff. The main dining room was excellent and newly refurbished. Our room was cleaned an linen changed several times during our stay. Breakfast was excellent and great value the service was excellent and even the dog got her sausage. There were several lovely walks for the dog within a short distance & all locals were very friendly. Lost of historic places to visit not to far to travel. Lindisfarne / Holy island.……

“Great location, fabulous views of the rolling hills and loch, together with a real sense of 'getting away from it all'. The downstairs of the cottage was cosy and adequately equipped. We particularly enjoyed the open fire that was set up ready to go, we only had to light it and there was plenty of spare wood to burn. A point for our own learning is that next time we will select somewhere that does not welcome pets as many parts of the upstairs did smell like dogs were there before us. So much so……
