"Stayed here for 2 nights having travelled the road from Reykjavik and basing ourselves here to visit Jokulsarlon and Fjallsarlon lagoons. The cabin is clean, warm, spacious and very comfortable with the hot tub filled and ready to use as soon as we arrived. The ladder/stairs up to the upper level ..."

"This is a remote location, and as such, we were able to walk out our door and see the northern lights. The room was small but clean and comfortable. We arrived late on the day of our check-in, so it would've been helpful to know we needed to pick up food before arriving. It is at least a 20 km roundtrip ..."

"We had a cute little cottage with parking right outside. It was made up very well with linens and tea service. The view was very nice from the breakfast room in the main building and the breakfast was good with a few gluten free options."

Good place to stay
"We booked a double room with private bathroom. The hotel and the room were clean, and quiet. The beds are comfortable, parking is free onsite. The staff were very friendly. The location is great. There's a waterfall behind the hotel. Just one thing to note but it's not a deal breaker is that the breakfast is very basic (one cup of yugort, one slide of cucumber, slides of bread and cheese as many as you want, small orange juice box and coffee - refill) "

"Farm house converted into guest-house which has a waterfall / creek in their backyard - fantastic view ! Living room was spacious. Fully equipted kitchen with stovetop, oven, freezer/ refrigerator and new pots and utensils. Do the grocery and wine shopping in town and go to this guest house, as we did, because store , restaurant are far away. Owners were super kind and their fluffy waffles were much better than bakery-bought. Their TV is installed with Netflix where you can put in your ID. Three of us stayed here two nights and were very happy there. "
