This is a homey, charming place to stay. I love the big windows in the room. Would have been perfect if the Northern Lights were out the night we stayed. Excellent restaurant and breakfast buffet.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. They helped us out despite our late arrival time (thank you). The breakfast was great. The room was clean and comfy, however after one of us showered the water got cold and I had to muster up the strength of 10 men to take a cold shower. The wifi in Cabin 10 was very weak. But it was along our route and it was a good place to stop for the night. Thank you
We had an amazing stay. The location is great for exploring the east coast of Iceland. The staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast was stellar and I highly recommend having dinner at the on-site restaurant- it’s delicious! My only complaint is the curtains weren’t blackout, so be warned if you’re staying in the summer when it’s still light at midnight. Other than that, the guesthouses and property are perfect.
What an amazing place! Right of the main road but in the middle of a quiet farm, most beautiful setting. The cottages were simple but comfortable, great beds and linens and most of all nothing can beat the view we had. Waking up to the sound of sheep and a quite breeze was amazing. We loved the atmosphere and service, friendliness of the people and convenience (if not prices) of the onsite restaurant. Highly recommended!
