The hotel is just a few minutes walk down a dirt track to the beach The gardens are kept lovely by the staff The pool isn’t huge but big enough to swim daily The breakfast options isn’t great for westerners but they did oblige and make us poached eggs daily The room was huge and reasonably clean but dated it’d be great if the rooms were more modern but the bed was huge and really comfortable All the staff, especially the older gentleman on the back door security, were very friendly and welcoming Would I stay there again? Maybe if it was refurbished or if I got a good price

The resort itself is very well maintained and has a beautiful energy. The staff are always kind, helpful, and ready to assist with a smile. The food is fresh, healthy, and delicious, with many options for all tastes. The yoga shalas, spa, and beachside restaurant make Nalanda a perfect place for both relaxation and rejuvenation. Everything is organized with care and attention. Overall, Nalanda Retreat offers a wonderful experience — peaceful, clean, and full of warmth. Highly recommended for anyone looking to relax, recharge, and enjoy a beautiful stay in Goa.
