“Nice staff, great location, but the place is full of mosquitos, all kinds of bugs, and even snake... Can't feel the safety after seeing that and checked out quickly... ”

“The only issue we had during our stay was the power lines that obstruct the "ocean view". We stayed in cottage #8 right on the street at the front of the building. The "Ocean View" is somewhat exaggerated because there is two houses and lots of power lines between the cottage and the water. Saltair's website does not accurately display or mention this. Overall, we had a nice visit, and the beach access is great. The staff was great and the room was nice for the price. Also it's worth mentioning,……

“Having the Bistro restaurant on the premises was good and food was great! Room we stayed in is showing its age and could use a deep cleaning.”

“The carpet in our room had clearly not been vacuumed and was full of sand when we arrived. During our three-day stay, the room was never cleaned, and we were not provided with clean linens until we specifically requested them. The bed was also extremely hard and uncomfortable. Overall, the stay was just okay. The lack of cleanliness and housekeeping was disappointing and definitely took away from the experience.”

“Reasons the score is a 5/10 are pretty simple…. The elevator is questionable and we got stuck on it. Breakfast may be included but it’s literally the same foods every day. (Eggs, some form of sausage, waffles, cereal, muffins, yogurt) Yes theres a variety but mix it up and do ham or sausage gravy and biscuits or something….. The building needs work but then again most do. Our room was clean for the most part but you can tell that the ceiling needs proper repair, the showers need better cleaning……

“Beds and bathrooms were clean. Staff helpful and friendly . Flooring is uneven so there was a crack under the door. Garbage truck comes by most mornings at 4am and makes a ton of noise!”
