“Property called me at last minute and cancelled the booking”

“Had I known that the room and where we needed to register were in two separate locations (10 minute walk in the rain) I would not have booked this place. Parking was said to be easily accessible on the street was not true at the time. Other than that, the room was acceptable.”

“This Castle was a highlight of our trip around Ireland! The grounds are lovely, the castle is absolutely incredible. Like staying in a fairytale. The restaurant staff are fantastic and the food was top notch! Highly recommend the Waterford Castle.”

“Lorraine took care of us at breakfast both mornings we were there. She was very welcoming and lovely to talk too. The front desk staff were great and the housekeeping staff did a great job. Our room was like a small apartment with everything we would need in the kitchen!”

“Only negative was that there wasn't an elevator. Staff in the bar/restaurant were very friendly and provided great service. Reception staff helped with baggage due to some of us being a bit incapacitated.”

“The huts and gardens were fantastic. The huts had everything you needed and were clean and tidy. Loved sitting in the hot tub at night watching the bats! ”

“The check-in was very smooth. The staff member showed us through the property including the smoking area, public washrooms, the breakfast area and our room. It’s upstairs from a pub so we needed all that information to find the amenities. He showed us where to park the car for the night. A full Irish breakfast was included and it was wonderful. The food aitress who served us was lovely. We booked this at the last minute when our other accommodation fell through. We all had a good sleep. Five……

“The room was lovely, and the staff were great. When we arrived, two beautiful dogs were waiting at the hotel door. It was therapeutic after a long day of travelling overseas. The hotel is beautiful, and I especially enjoyed having a drink or two at Tupper's Bar. Will be staying here again the next time I'm in Kilkenny.”
