i was running late for meetings and needed to leave at 8am and wanted to have some food packed so that i could have it enroute but was advised that i can only take away fruit and not cooked items like paranthas 😳. My room rate included breakfast. Surprised that the restaurant staff will only serve breakfast if you eat in!!

The amenities exceeded expectations — from the pristine pool and well-equipped gym to the delicious breakfast buffet with a wide variety of local and international options. What truly set this hotel apart was the personal attention and consistency in service. Every team member seemed sincerely invested in making our visit memorable. I’ve stayed at many hotels around the world, but this one stands out for its combination of luxury, warmth, and professionalism. I can’t recommend it highly enough - can’t wait to return!

The Leela Palace Chennai is probably the best hotel I’ve ever been to. Not only are the facilities world class, but the effort they make to ensure their guests feel at home and special is second to none. Ajit the concierge ensured that everytime I was in the lobby, he’d personally greet me and ensure all was ok. All transport was arranged swiftly and if there was anything we needed assistance with, he was available in heart beat. Ratan, our private butler - was always there to support us and our young family’s needs and Jayesh the head chef made our experiences at the buffet all the more memorable. Put simply, they just treat their guests with the utmost respect and kindness and make them feel completely at home. I’m going to miss the Leela but can’t wait to be back
