The location is very convenient to the Crocodile Bridge entrance of Kruger National Park. My and my family stayed at Kruger Kumba for 2 nights in early Jan , needless to say it was quite hot - 37 degrees . The property over all is good but there were some issues which i would specify : 1) There is only one air conditioner in the lounge which is not sufficient for the rooms on a hot day ...

You can take time to visit Lionspruit Game Reserve during your travels to Marloth Park. Amble around the area's parks, or seek out its safari tours.
Explore the great outdoors at Crocodile Bridge Gate, a lovely green space in Nkomazi. While you're in the area, wander around the natural setting.
Enjoy a round of golf in Nkomazi at Leopard Creek Country Club. While you're in the area, stroll along the riverfront.

Komatipoort is the best area to stay for visiting nearby Kruger National Wildlife Park. Especially when traveling from Mozambique, because it is just over the border. Only a 10 minute drive and you are in the park. Also, lots of shopping nearby.
