"Very clean and quiet room, with a beautiful view of palamidi fortress. The views at night are even more stunning. Very easy self check in process, great communication with the hotel staff and great location, just 4 mins drive from the waterfront. Highly recommend"

"This hotel is in a perfect location directly on the sea shore. That is only good thing I can say. We arrived at 14.30 and had to wait 15 minutes for someone to arrive on reception to be told the room was not ready and to go away for an hour.
When we returned we were showed our room on the ground floor which we booked as a family room with a sea view and it looked at the carpark. There were 2 twin beds pushed together and no extra beds in the room. The mattresses were as hard as boards and very...

We looked at several places to stay and landed here. The location was fantastic, the room was comfortable and the staff helpful. We enjoyed a nice breakfast each morning at an adjacent restaurant affiliated with the hotel. Would definitely recommend.

Nice quiet room with a terrace and good wifi. Just outside of the inner town so plenty of free on-street parking. Great breakfast buffet served from a rooftop terrace (see attached photo for view). Ten minute walk to the heart & "boardwalk" of the old town. Location a little outside is better because there are nearby less touristy and busy restaurants than you would find deeper in the inner town.

I believe this is a family operation. The son is very personable , very friendly and knows everything about the town.
The mother handles breakfast and she makes you feel like you broke into her house and demanded breakfast for free. Curt and inflexible sorry to say. The food is great, though.Just keep your head down , eat and go

Lovely hotel in a good location . It’s not right on the promenade, but we had a corner view of the sea from our balcony .
The room was lovely. The staff was very welcoming and friendly.
The breakfast was very good . I would stay there again .

What a gem! Quiet! Beautiful modern furnishings, every comfort thought of, a lovely pool with plenty of lounge chairs, and an outstanding night time view of the lit up hill top fortress! Easy walk or drive for beach access and 5 minute drive to restaurants and shopping.

We stayed 6 nights in the one-bedroom unit in this immaculately clean and well-maintained property. Our unit was spacious and comfortable with a nice kitchen, living room, and balcony. Free onsite parking was convenient. The breakfast buffet was wonderful with a variety of hot and cold items. The owner and housekeeping staff were very friendly and hospitable. Highly recommend this accommodation and would definitely stay at this property again.

The room was very beautiful and the bed was great. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and abundant. The hit tub on the terrace was superb and so was the view. The only thing is that this suite is on the top floor- almost 3 flights of stairs and no elevator. However George was kind enough to bring our luggage up. The location was excellent right by the big plaza and few steps to the marina and all the restaurants and shops nearby. We had a great time! Thanks to...

Nafplio is a great place to set up camp to explore the Argolid, great restaurants and nightlife. Klymeni is absolutely great - the location, the facilities, the helpful staff (we had done quite a bit of research and still, whether it was restaurants or sunken cities, Alexandro or Vasilis had the inside track).

This historic 300-year-old building houses a beautiful hotel with large well-equipped rooms. It is in the heart old town. The free breakfast is varied and delicious.
Be aware that permanent parking may be 300 meters away. Parking is a comfortable walk to a flight of steps that leads up to the front door. Alternatively, if you don't mind navigating a narrow street, you can drive up next to the hotel (up a flight of stairs from the front door) to unload your luggage. In either case, hotel staff...

Unique lodging experience for those looking for an adventure! If you're carrying heavy bags, there's parking near by but the last ~5-10 mins are only reachable by foot (it's in an entirely walking-only part of town). It felt safe even late at night. The rooms are beautiful and super clean, and staff is very responsive.

The best area to stay in Kougaiika is the central village area, particularly around the main square and the roads leading off it.
This area is the heart of Kougaiika, offering convenient access to local amenities and a traditional Greek village experience. You'll find a selection of tavernas serving local cuisine, small shops, and the central church. The village is built into the hillside, so many accommodations offer views of the surrounding olive groves and the sea in the distance.
Couples often appreciate this central location for its relaxed pace and easy access to evening dining options. It's a nice setting for enjoying quiet evenings and experiencing local life.
For travelers who prioritize peace and direct access to nature, staying in accommodations slightly outside the immediate village center, but still within walking distance, can be an excellent choice. These properties often feature more expansive grounds, private pools, and offer a more secluded experience with stunning views of the Peloponnese landscape. This option is particularly appealing for those seeking a tranquil retreat.
When is the best time to go to Kougaiika?
The best time to go to Kougaiika is during the shoulder seasons of May, early June, September, and early October. These months offer pleasant weather, fewer crowds, and a more relaxed experience compared to the peak summer months.
During these periods, temperatures are comfortable for exploring the area's natural beauty and historical sites without the intense heat of mid-summer. You'll find that hiking trails, like those leading to the nearby waterfalls or through olive groves, are particularly enjoyable. The sea is also warm enough for swimming, and you can comfortably spend time on the beaches without them being overly crowded.
For travelers who appreciate a balance of good weather and a more tranquil experience, these shoulder months are ideal.
