Sponge to wash dishes was old and had hair stuck to it, and I didn’t feel comfortable washing the dishes with it. The shower had lime scale and black mold in several areas. I didn’t feel like it had been properly cleaned in quite some time. The rest of the room was fine. We told ourselves it was “rustic”. But the shower was definitely not clean to standards of a regular hotel or airbnb. If you bring luggage, be prepared to carry it up to the second floor, or take the (scary) staff elevator. There is a regular elevator beginning on the second floor, but be aware, as we saw people with strollers and luggage have a tough time going up to the second floor since the stairs are a bit awkward. It is in a rougher area.
