We rented the room just for the day, as it was close to the beach and pretty inexpensive as we had an evening flight. What we found was mold on the room fan, the two beds had lots of small specks either from the ceiling or little bugs and the towels weren't fresh. We wouldnt have stayed there for the night.

Decent place for a couple of nights in Kuta
This place is cheap, which was good. It is also a good place to meet other travelers. However, I was asked by each member of the staff if I had paid, which was odd since I paid through hotels.com. It was a bit of a hassle. Also, I booked a transfer to Ubud with the guy in front of the hotel and they came early and even though I was still able to get to the front before my designated time when the driver was still there, they told me I had to wait 2 hours for the next ride, which was odd.
