Located in a quieter area of Kyoto but still walkable to bus stop and metro station. Close to good cafes and restaurants. The room is clean and you are offered matcha on arrival of good quality.

It can be quite a walk if you have heavy luggage to the hotel but the location is amazing with shopping and food close by. Highly recommend!

Lovely property, would stay again and highly recommend. Very good location and super friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are nice and big, very clean. The only downside is the tiled flooring in the bathroom, it's the type of material that stains easily and looks very hard to clean. Due to the texture, it looks dirty even though it probably isn't.

The hotel was conveniently located, with easy access to many tourist spots. Hotel was very clean, staff was very attentive. They offer you a fabulous tea as a welcome, and the coffee shop located in the hotel has extremely good options.

The location of our hotel was incredible - walking distance to so many great shops and restaurants, and convenient to get to all the sightseeing spots. The hotel staff were super friendly and helpful. Would recommend and would definitely stay here again next time we visit Kyoto.

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was quiet while being close to transit and very walkable to restaurants. The staff were very kind and helped us with anything we needed. I would definitely recommend and come back to stay.

The rooms are spacious compared to others we stayed in, in Japan. They appear to be newly renovated and feel quite luxurious. The beds are very firm. A big negative for me is the fact that the windows are completely covered with a translucent film, so even though the light comes through the film, you cannot see out. This may or may not bother you.

Although a small boutique hotel it was a quiet and clean hotel. Rooms were small but nice. The staff was excellent. I only wished that they had a laundry area available. Otherwise, the location was so close to Nishiki Market and shopping areas.

A wonderful place to recharge.
Great location: quiet and close to shopping and mass transportation stops. The staff was great: friendly and did not hesitate to help. The room was clean and quite modern. Good and convenient restaurant next door. Price was just right.

Great boutique hotel near Nishiki Market
We liked everything about this hotel: the location, comfort of the beds/pillows, pajamas (in fact, I purchased a pair to take home), amenities, size of the room, and especially the coffee cafe, Common Well, off the lobby. This is hotel we would revisit. The only odd thing about our room was the very large glass window that was completely frosted. We had lovely day light, but couldn’t see out the window to even check the weather.
