Good spot but very expensive

"We enjoyed our stay for 3 nights but it certainly isn’t 5* but the restaurant prices are for mediocre food! We were on B&B basis thankfully so after first night ate out at excellent local restaurants at sensible prices. You need reef shoes on the beach and in the lagoon but even just standing you can see a great array of fish so snorkelling is excellent. We even saw a humpback whale just beyond the reef. "

"This hotel is amazing. Centrally located and looks a lot better than the photos. Staff is very nice and since we don’t speak French, it was nice that they could converse in English with us. The rooms were very spacious and they added some nice touches. The only thing I would add is a couple more vegetarian/vegan options on the menu in case guests don’t feel like venturing out for the evening. This is a Reunion Island issue, but we expect hotels to have more of a wider menu. Overall, an excellent choice for a hotel! Reasonably priced, clean, and the location can’t be beat! "
