“Breakfast was really nice with everything fresh and even bacon and scrambled egg. Staff were really nice and friendly, complimenting my wife on her French whilst also being good wirh English”

“Carpeting in room dirty. Good range of places to eat nearby. Breakfast choices reduced from a few years ago. Staff very helpful and friendly. Overall not as good a value as before. When on offer price is ok but not at full price.”

“Interesting and beautiful hotel set in lovely parkland and gardens. Good food in the brasserie and useful to know that one of the three restaurants is open each day. Plenty of parking and an hour from Calais so an excellent stopover.”

“Kamers waren redelijk schoon, de badkamer en toilet mogen schoner of vervangen. Lekkage kraan. Bij binnenkomst hing er een zure lucht in de kamer, maar die vervloog snel. Personeel achter de balie zeer vriendelijk. Accomodatie is simpel en prima voor een nacht op doorreis.”

“Unique accommodation (quirky even) from access via lock boxes (great!) to the space itself, multilevel with a separate sitting area and bathroom. The bed was massive and incredibly comfortable, a fan was provided to keep the room cool (it was 32C outside) and the shower was hot and powerful. There was a large flatscreen TV with lots of channel choices too. Breakfast was provided on a tray outside the room. If you like a non-invasive experience, in an old, stylish, unique property, in the centre……
