"The Commodore is a very nice hotel, very close (just a few minutes walk) from the attractions, shops and restaurants of the V&A Waterfront. It is well maintained, exceptionally clean, has great furnishings and tasteful modern decor. The restaurant and food are very good and the staff very polite, friendly, helpful and accommodating. It is not far from the City Centre and is an excellent base from which to explore Table Mountain and the rest of the scenic Cape Peninsula. It has a distinct upmarket ambiance. I have stayed here twice in the last 5 years. Highly recommended!"

"Cape Town gave me so many beautiful memories, and my stay at the Manchester Boutique Hotel was one of them. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel like family. The front desk, bellman, waiters and waitresses, everyone was so warm and welcoming, and they went out of their way to celebrate me throughout my stay, especially for my birthday. Beyond the hospitality, I loved the hotel itself, the beautiful boutique design, pool, the restaurant (THE WAFFLES were my favorite for breakfast), spa, and the location is very close to the Sea Point Promenade. Being able to step outside and run along the ocean with those mountain views during the sunrise was everything. If you're planning a Cape Town trip and looking for an awesome hotel, definitely save this one"

"We stayed at the Dolphin Guest house in July 2026. The owners are the most welcoming people you can come across. We spend a morning over coffee and breakfast together with them. They gave us phenomenal tips of what to see and where to go for curiosa and souvenirs - we probably filled up an extra suitcase with everything we bought. Our conversation was diverse, animated and connecting as human beings. The rooms were perfect for us. Breakfast was delightful. The common area is filled with fun details and paintings. And if you're beating jet lag, you can just go outside, cross the road and you are right at the beach with fresh air and sunshine. What else could one wish for?! We highly recommend this place and hope to come back one day."
