I enjoyed the 2 nights there happily. The sand level was as low as I have ever seen it. Not much You can do on that count. It will return in the spring. The staff was extremely amenable and attentive to our every need. Thanks for your flexibility.

Forced valet parking - completely unnecessary. The property apparently had a demolition crew come in and work on several units - this was not communicated. The beaches around the area were amazing - saving grace.

This is an older hotel, but well-maintained and located right on the beach and walking distance to the many shops of Laguna Beach. The staff was great. We really enjoyed this hotel.

Rooms need a serious upgrade. The location is great and it’s clean. Probably best for a summer escape if you want to go to the beach or surf and having a more modern room isn’t top priority.

Everything is disappointing, old furniture, noisy rooms, insecure, over priced, bad/no amenities, no hot water for showers. First night was terrific with no TV and drugged neighbors in the other rooms, asked to fix my tv then I got moved to another room where the power went off at night due to wind or coffee maker! Heaters and conditions are manual and not available in all rooms. No privacy and expensive parking. The only reason for anyone to stay is the beach access

Great place to stay. Access to the beach and use of chairs, towels and even a boogie board was all included in the amenity fee.

The location could not be better. Absolutely fabulous. The rooms are a bit sparse. Carpet and drapes could use replacing. The bathroom and kitchen area look upgraded, but the sea air is already starting to take its toll again. Still, I would stay here again and again.

Can’t beat the view it’s so beautiful. My room was near the laundry room and there was a dumpster outside my room. My wake up call was all that noise. We did however enjoy the complimentary boogie boards and chairs to hang out on the beach. The grounds were beautiful. The jacuzzi was also relaxing. The beach was beautiful but hard to walk around and get into water there are so many loose rocks that crash into your toes along with the waves so we just enjoyed walks on the beach.
