“We traveled around Ireland for 2 weeks. This was my favorite stay, by far. The cabin is gorgeous and very comfortable. The view is breathtaking. We had sheep and a few hares in a field by cabin and that was just icing on the cake. Highly recommend! There is a bakery in town that deserves a mention. The meat pies and pastries were delicious and the baker is a nice lady who also has a selection of postcards and other mementoes. ”

“WiFi was very slow, bed was hard, pillows were very flat and hard, 1 elevator was broken with no “out of order” sign, no outlets by the bed - we both use cpap machines and the cords barely reached the outlet on the other side of the room, and no shampoo or conditioner. No A/C, but that seems to be common in the surrounding areas-the window did open for cooler air. Food in the bar was great but the service was a little slow. ”

“Our stay at Nevins Newfield Inn was outstanding. We were greeted and welcomed by the proprietors and personally shown to our room in the Lodge. We were given a room facing away from the road as we had requested and on the 1st floor so that we did not need to carry our luggage to the 2nd floor as there is no elevator. The rooms in the lodge have been recently refurbished. We booked a Deluxe King room. There was plenty of room even with a large comfortable bed.,The room was very quiet in spite of……

“Great hotel , stayed before several times. Excellent location overlooking clew bay. Not as busy as Westport. Good breakfast. Didn’t like that the pool is only three feet deep, very difficult to swim properly.”

“Great place to stay in Westport! The room was a great size considering it only slept two people. The bathroom seemed recently updated and was very nice (especially the shower). The location was great for exploring the town and being close to pubs, restaurants, and activities. They had a nice living room type area downstairs to sit, but no additional amenities.”

“Beleek Castle is a truly special experience. The grounds are amazing - lots of beautiful woodland trails. The interior is stunning and is like a museum. The rooms are spacious and beautifully appointed. You will get a friendly welcome from owner, Paul Doran, in the dining room. Staff is very responsive and helpful.
