I loved staying here! The staff was friendly and accommodating. Although it is an older hotel, it was very well kept and very clean. The water pressure was great and the heads on the showers even better. You cannot beat this for the price! I will be staying there from now on when I am in town.
good stay, 2 nights. room is clean, water hot, and bed good. Walls in the bathroom need repainting. We have stayed several times in the past. Yes, the train is loud, but Kinder hotel is not responsible for that. All in all, it was a good stay
Check in was quick. That’s really all I have to say good about the place. The pictures on the ad DO NOT represent the place. As a matter of fact the pic are pics of another hotel. Smelled musty. Outdated. Not maintained. Clean for what it was, but hasn’t been updated since the 90s. I walked in, I walked out. Didn’t even go to desk to complain. Straight to my truck and straight to a different hotel
Furniture was old. Room was clean. Wash clothes were stained. No coffee pot in room. No breakfast.

Check in was very easy, we arrived late. There was still someone there to give us a room key. The property appears to have been recently updated. In general, it was decent for such little cost. Seems to be used more by blue collar workers overnight working out of town. Lots of work trucks. The room was fairly clean, there was one "little friend" under the sink area which is to be expected in Louisiana I suppose. We just needed a place to lay our head so it served it's purpose. We felt safe. Got decent rest and continued travel the next morning. If you want bells and whistles, this is not it but if you just need a safe comfortable place for a reasonable price to rest overnight, perfect!
First, you have to talk to the office staff through a window eventhough it’s 3 pm. There is no phone in the room, wi fi does not work. No closet to hang your clothes. The towels look like rags. The refrigerator has rust inside and out, it needs to go to the garbage. The floors are new and the bathroom is newly replaced. It looks they are still renovating. The good part is it’s close to Coushatta. Just bring your own towels, bedsheets and pillow case. You get what you paid for.

This past weekend we had to make an unexpected, last-minute trip to Kinder, Louisiana. It was a Sunday night, and due to the Coushatta Casino hotel being booked, we had to scramble to find lodging. The Kinder Inn popped up, so we booked it. The exterior of the hotel looked like it had been recently painted and the parking lot was well lit (a plus for us seniors). The hotel is family owned and run, and we think it’s important (especially in this financial climate) to support local “mom and pop” businesses. That being said, the good things were the room was exceptionally clean, and the bed and pillows were really comfortable! There was a mini-refrigerator and a microwave. On the “need improvement” side, there was no closet, the furniture was very dated, there was no coffee machine or bottled water provided and limited amenities. The room needs to be updated and painted but they’re doing the best they can with a huge renovation project. However, it was adequate for us, especially for the price and last-minute arrangements.

Property needs some work but the room was ok for what i paid. Weekend trip was comfortable.
This property needs to be shut down! The rooms are in EXTREMELY poor condition and are Filthy. Furniture and even the towels have cigarette burns. Floors are filthy! Paint and sheetrock chiping off the walls. NEVER AGAIN. Went to dollar store to get cleaning supplies to clean just to make the night. The room smelled of mildew.
