I loved this motel because it was affordable compared to other options in Lake Placid. My room was large, clean, and smelled fresh. I loved that I could park right in front of my door. Downtown was a short walk away. For budget travelers, this motel is exceptional.

I guess not having someone to check in with is the reason for the lower rate. The room was clean though, and the location works to walk into the village. Parking is definitely tight. I would stay here again.

We appreciated self check in and good communication regarding check In procedure as we arrived in the middle of the night, property was clean and our stay was comfortable. Only negative was the water pressure in the shower was extremely low.

The room was clean and comfortable. Exactly as described. There was also ample parking on-site. It was close to all facilities of Lake Placid. It made for a very pleasant stay and we would be happy to stay there again.

We liked the location, but I woke up both nights hearing the neighbors for a long while. Also the A/C sometimes felt m cold and sometimes seemed to be freezing up. The shower barely drained and the electrical plugs in the bathroom didn't work. Bed was comfortable.

The room was clean, and the location was great. But there is no one in the reception, and no one was reachable by calling the contact number posted on the office door. If you booked on a third-party website, you are in trouble. I tried every way to contact the hotel but failed. Then contacted Expedia; they were able to get in contact with them. Finally, I was able to get check-in information after waiting outside for almost 2 hours.

Room was spacious and clean (#20). Bathroom/shower was big and clean, excellent water pressure/hit water. Parking was a little tight, parking parallel to room. Room had single cup coffee maker. mini fridge, microwave. Outdoor pool not in open. Walking distance to McDonalds, ice cream place, restaurants. Hannafords and Price Chopper in Lake Placid, Aldi in Saranac. Walking distance (11 min walk) to Lake Placid village.

We were getting in late from a long trip and leaving early in the morning. We just needed a bed and a shower. This was exactly what we needed at a great price. Being able to pull up right in front of the room, and get in with the access key code provided by staff allowed us to brush teeth and get to sleep immediately. The property is not in pristine condition, and the site's swimming pool was still closed in mid June, but we weren't there to hang out at the motel. There is a lot to see and do in the immediate area.

Contactless check in is/was inconvenient. I don't read or answer emails/texts while on vacation. Lone housekeeper and a guest helped with my check in, I than discovered how to gain access to room. Room was okay, bathroom was fairly newly redone, Main floor had a hump and was spongy. Maybe owners should take a better walkthrough with people that know things. Contactless not for everyone. No one to help out if there is an issue. Phone number and call is not same as face to face. Call me old school cause I am. Served the purpose for one night.

Overall clean space, it's self check in so you don't really interact with any staff. Just a few suggestions would be, to add hooks to hang coats, jackets by the door or in the room somewhere. The bathroom also could use a shelf to put toiletries on. But good space and close to main town where all the shops and restaurants are.
