"I stayed for two nights on a long drive for rest stop. The place was beautiful and clean and well appointed -simple but luxurious. It had everything I needed. The view of the water and woods was beautiful. The deck, the grill, and laundry are also hit. I would definitely recommend solo for peace quiet time or for a couple."

"Absolutely wonderful. The only negatives that we had were really minor.There were no dishes for the bar soap in the bathrooms and no liquid soap dispensers either. Also, the little hook near the shower for holding the bath towel had been removed and not replaced.Also, we did not find coasters on which to put our drinks.As I wrote earlier, these were really minor things and they did not detract substantially from the joy of our stay."

"The Bluejay cabin was an amazing stay! We loved everything about this cabin from the moment we stepped in, from the kitchen to the cozy fire place. The bed was nice and comfy but the shower was to die for after a day on the lake! Herb and Lindsey responded to all of our questions quickly, and gave excellent recommendations of area attractions and restaurants. We are already making plans to come back with our kids next year! Definitely would recommend even if it's just to come for the view!"
