We do a lot of driving trips and this was our first to New Brunswick. Chateau St. John is the best value hotel we have stayed in during the past 10 years in Canada or the USA. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable, particularly the beds. The staff was very friendly, well trained and made us feel like valued customers. Unfortunately this is now an exception rather than the rule for most hotel chains. The breakfast was the best we have ever experienced as an inclusion for the room with bonus expressos included. Again the staff was top notch, helpful and friendly. Location was very convenient for our activities exploring the St. John area and the complimentary parking was appreciated. Our only regret is that we live so far away that it is unlikely that we will have many opportunities to visit again. Kudos to the management and staff of this hotel.
