Dutch Wonderland Inn was a great hotel experience for a family of four with two younger kids under five. The pools and splash pad were clean, accessible, and supervised properly, with a big bonus of a fun water slide. The room is nice, AC worked well, beds were comfortable. Breakfast I. The restaurant was good and reasonably priced. Kids loved the arcade. It is walking distance to the park which is a bonus. We would stay here again.

We had a great stay. The front desk staff was super friendly and helpful, and the pool was amazing our kids loved it. The location is excellent, with plenty of restaurants and stores within a 10-minute drive.
The only downsides were that the room felt a little too dark, and the bathtub’s soap, shampoo, and conditioner holder had some mold on it.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be coming back!
The front desk staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and seemed to be recently updated. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were of poor quality and very soft and flat. A free continental breakfast would have been nice.

The check in staff was amazing. I wanted things a little cleaner; indoor pool water was murky, things floating around we did not get in, out door pool was better,, but there was a bit of hair stuck to the tile at the entrance. Our biggest issue was our door to our room it would not open easily, twice we had to get assistance to access our room, last issue was the bathroom when showering the curtain nor the edge on shower stopped from letting water out, making the bathroom floor extremely wet. My kids enjoyed it. Ending our trip with a visit to Dutch wonderland which was great!
For this being an inn for children and there’s not suppose to be a smoking on the property there was cigarette butts all over the place especially at the out side camp fires. When brought to the attention of staff it was like they didn’t care. The room were comfortable.however the room could use a chair or two so you don’t have to dire on the bed all the time.

The food was expensive given the quality. Definitely room for improvement there. Otherwise great, great place to stay with kids.
We went for the holiday weekend. Check-in is at 4pm. We arrived around 5:30pm and our room was still not ready. Therefore, we decided to go try to grab dinner at the on-site restaurant. There was one table occupied, and 2 families online ahead of us. After 10 minutes of waiting, we were advised it would be at least a 30-45 minutes wait to be seated since they were understaffed. Again, it's a holiday weekend, why weren't they prepared for the volume of people? That's pretty frustrating.
The splish pad was fun. Nice cold water for the 100 degree weather. Good for all ages. The arcade was good.
The staff upon check-in as well as at Penley’s restaurant were so helpful and friendly. There wasn’t one staff that didn’t seem to enjoy their job. The outdoor pool had 2-3 life guards on staff at all times who took pool safety seriously. My only criticism was the cleanliness of the bathroom. Although nothing was overly dirty, in the shower the shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispensers had build up and what looked like mold there.
It has a musty smell, like horses or cows live there, not super strong but still. I also don’t like that everything is on the ground floor, but that was my fault for not noticing. You can see through the window. Location is ideal! The amenities are great and maintenance was also great, staff was great
