The cabin was clean, comfortable and just as described. Perfect location for our hunt and UTV trail riding. Lovely porch for morning coffee or evening cocktails! Great space for the dogs too!

We loved staying at the Cabin! Beautiful location. The log home was so nice to come back to after our daily hikes. The cabin was clean, well equipped and had everything we needed. It was very comfortable. The host provided clear information , including directions, check-in, and check-out. We really enjoyed our stay and would be happy to stay again.

A great stay in Lander

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin and found everything to be just as described. The place was very clean and the bed was comfy. The kitchen had everything you could need. It was a great place to use as a base to explore the nearby parks and historic areas.

Peaceful and spacious

The house fit our family perfectly. It was well supplied with everything we needed to rest and recharge after hiking and climbing in nearby Wild Iris and Sinks Canyon.

Wonderful

Spent a night here between tent camping trips in CO & WY. Shower & laundry, nice to have a kitchen and hot running water for dishes - creature comforts, lol! House is fantastic, very comfortable bed & living room furniture. Do make sure to go out after dark to stargaze, some of the best we've seen out west!

Lander Visit

The cabin was in a pleasant location about 18 min south of Lander. We enjoyed the view and the “home-like atmosphere of the cabin. It is far enough from town to be quiet and surrounded by beautiful scenery, but you don’t have the option of “running” to the store for a couple items. The cabin is as advertised and Cassandra was a great host who helped us quickly with some minor problems. Nice place.

This property feels like is running on empty, Maintenance and updates seem to have been ignored for some time.It's a neat cabin on a super property, but failed in the 3 most important areas: Safety, comfort and cleanliness.Safety - Stonework on front stairs is falling apart, a real trip hazard when trying to carry luggage, etc. to/from. Also, the tall, dry vegetation needs to be cleared 6-10 feet from the driveway and house, as is a real fire hazard. The prop is one misplaced cigarette butt away from a disaster.Comfort - The mattresses are cheap & terrible. Mini toilet with a loose seat in the main bathroom. A/C is poorly designed, When the main floor was the desired temp, the basement was 10-15 degrees cooler and the upstairs was 10-15 degrees hotter due to no vents upstairs. And no portable A/C unit was provided though the weather was hot. We slept on the floor in the basement, as evenings were over 85 upstairs.Cleanliness - lots of rodent droppings. And just needs a general deep clean.On the positive, host did try to make the heat situation better with more fans, but didn't help much. And he worked hard to resolve a plumbing issue which I'm not scoring against, as stuff happens.Other areas to improve:- Get a real grill.- Replace worn non-stick pans.
