Lansing Castle Hotels

"We had a connection cancelled due to severe weather and got stranded in Chicago late in the evening. I booked this hotel on Hotels.com thinking it had an airport shuttle. It did not. When we arrived, the line to checkin was nearly out the door with one young girl working the desk and clearly using her phone to FaceTime someone who was guiding her through every step, every click of the mouse, etc. She was not trained and should not have been there alone. As a result, we stood in line for well over an hour to get checked in and didn't get to sleep until around 2am. This turned a miserable day into two miserable days."

"The noise at night was just ridiculous. Loud music loud kids in the hallway. Noise until after midnight. I asked for my room to be cleaned and refilled twice they came in no coffee,sweetener,stirrers.On the second cleaning there was only a half roll of toilet paper left and they never gave us a backup roll. They did not have breakfast so the coffee in the room was important. I travel a lot will never stay there again. "

"The room’s furniture was literally disintegrating. Floor wasn’t in the best shape/cleanliness wasn’t great. Beds were super hard. Pool area was absolutely disgusting. Walls were falling apart, stuff on the floor and some sort of oily substance floating on the FREEZING water. Pool was the only reason I booked the hotel in the first place. No sheets on the pull out bed when we went to use it so my oldest son just shared with my youngest. Overall the whole hotel needs a redo/overhaul."

"Very friendly staff, clean bright rooms. The bathroom was spacious. The refrigerator and coffee in room was great. Large free breakfast selection. The only thing that I didnt care for is that the hotel does not have dedicated parking. If there is an event at the convention center then it is hard to find something close. Having to drag your luggae and items blocks away is a pain."

" I booked 2 rooms and was involved in a car accident 3 hours b4 check in. Messaged the property but no response. Then I was still charged for both rooms. Total loss with Hampton"

"Washer and Dryer always broke. Machines are empty. You need another luggage cart , if 1 person has it its gone forever. Staff is excellent. Jackie and Zuluma are great but are limited. Cleaning staff is great and is custodial crew. "
