“Our stay at Torfhus Retreat was great. The location is perfect for exploring the Golden Circle – we could easily visit major sites without exhausting drives. The hospitality was warm and genuine, making us feel completely at home. One of our favorite surprises was the charming Icelandic horses at the fence from the neighboring farm – we got some wonderful photos of these beautiful creatures.
The food was wonderful throughout our stay. Breakfast provided everything we needed to start our days of……

“This was a super cool place to stay... There is nothing like it around. Three sides of the building are 1-sided mirrors, so we had a 180 degree view from inside, but no one could see in. The 2-person hot tub was an added bonus. Very clean and located a little ways off the golden circle road. I would highly recommend for a very unique experience. ”

“We had an excellent stay here. Everything was exactly as it was in the photos and descriptions. It was very easy to find, and easy to get to. We had a shorter stay, and it was a great location for us to access our other activities. The house was very clean and perfectly prepared for our arrival. The porch, hot tub and sauna outside were wonderful to utilize. As a group of seven, the house was a great size. Additionally, one of us had to do some work during the stay and the wifi had no issues.……
