“Stunning place to spend a fall weekend! The setup of the home was great for a large family to cook, gather and spend time indoors and out. ”

“We reserved a room with 2 Queen beds. When we went to our room the smell in the room was awful. I asked for a new room. The gentleman at the front desk was very understanding and helpful. He gave us a new room. This room smelled better, but had a different smell (like a mildew smell). The room itself seemed to be in good shape. The only other thing that we noticed was that the carpet seemed to be pretty dirty (after showering and walking only in the room, our feet were dirty).”

“I booked a double-bed room with a private bathroom, but when I checked in around 10 p.m., I discovered the bathroom was shared with unknown guests in another room and, unbelievably, it had no door lock. The bathroom was terrible: the showerhead looked over 50 years old and sprayed water unpredictably, the shower area was too small for a six-foot person, and the sink inside the room drained extremely slowly. The lodge even provides earplugs because it is so noisy. Reception said no……

“The staff was very nice and accommodating. The only thing I would like to see is an elevator put in. And maybe a little bit more choice for a breakfast. Waffles was the only thing offered for a hot breakfast. Other than that, very nice place to stay!”

“We booked this cabin during a trip to Chippewa to visit family in the area. While the place was small, it was perfect for my husband and I, and our Australian Shepherd. The view from the couch looked directly onto the lake, and the location was easy to find. There was one central AC unit, but it kept the place cool. The house was clean, and contained a coffee maker, little stove/oven, sink, and full fridge. It was an easy walk to the public beach access and the Rooster Salon. It was close to the……
