“The Betsie River Bungalow was perfect for our ski getaway this winter. The home was very comfortable, clean, and in a gorgeous location. Providing snowshoes was a fun extra that we enjoyed, trekking out into the woods. The owner is very responsive and it is obvious the guests’ needs are thoughtfully taken care of in advance. Our family definitely recommends this gem! ”

“It was a great little house for us and the price was right. We were up there for my wife's graduation from NMU. (Online student but wanted to walk) It was about a 40 min drive to campus but we knew that coming in. There were a couple small things that could be improved on. The back bedroom register cover needs to fixed as it is squeaky when heat was one, one ice cube tray is broken, could use a clock on the wall someplace, entertanment center door needs repair, and back door window needs……

“Great communication with owners. Close to lake. Property was up for sale, but we were not informed of that. There was a separate lockbox for the realtor and we were worried they’d have a showing during our stay. Cute decor; nicely decorated. It could’ve been cleaned better; everything was quite dusty. Overall nice place would just recommend a better cleaning.”

“Nice location and cabin has everything you need. But it doesn’t have WiFi, the bed is super squeaky and uncomfortable, and a lot of insects get into the cabin.”

“Cute little rustic cabin in a good location in the U.P. Of Michigan. The place was well stocked and had everything we needed. It is surrounded by apple trees and there’s a little creek right next to it and our toddler had a lot of fun playing in the yard while we had a fire. Roads not too busy most days and the train only went by twice in the week we were there. There was some broken glass in the yard and the mosquitoes were really thick but that can’t really be helped. Overall we enjoyed our……

“Overall we really enjoyed our stay. The listing was accurate. We loved having access to the kayaks and paddle board. Being able to bring our dog was such an awesome thing! The cabin is VERY close to the main house. That is not clearly shown in the listing and we would’ve preferred a more separate space. The yard and waterfront area is very much a shared space, which we did not anticipate. Charlene was very nice and pleasant, we just would have liked more privacy.”
