This hotel in Leadville is incredible, very clean very nice atmosphere i like the codes to get into the hotel instead of checking in with the staff, the only thing is parts of the hotel room were broke like the handle of one of the windows and the fan to cool off the room didn’t even work when you plugged it in, the rooms are hot but if you open the windows for a bit it is a very enjoyable stay! overall would recommend

Definitely need black out curtains that work. Because of the very bright exterior light the black out curtains were ineffective. There is a severe lack of electrical outlets. I had to unplug the TV to make coffee. And the bedside lamps were terrible - dim, flickering light. Kind of weird to pay extra for a fright and microwave?

This is an older property so don’t expect the Hilton. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. However there was a coffee pot and all the things to go with it but no coffee.

Love the Old Tale Inn in Leadville! Would love to give 5 stars, the outside I a little rough BUT the rooms are fantastic!! Absolutely spotless clean, updated bathrooms and flooring, nice smart TV, new coffee maker. Customer service is 5 stars. The only thing we didn’t like was there was a lot of light coming into the room at night. If they would add black out curtains to the window in the door and floor to ceiling blackout curtains on ALL the windows, this hotel would be perfect! We will still always choose the Old Tale Inn every time we’re in Leadville because it is a great place to stay!

We have stayed here before. Although the room was clean, the common space needed some attention. As this is the off season in Leadville, I don't think there were many other guests and attention to some of those details may have been less than we expected.
