“Excellent place!”

“Very friendly pub/inn. The food ( dinner and breakfast), was tasty and a good choice. The bar was busy in the evening, as was the restaurant, so it is clearly a popular venue. Our room was spacious, comfortable and had been recently refurbished to a really good standard and was super clean. The team were super friendly and helpful. Parking out the back was very handy. Definitely worth a look if you’re wanting somewhere within easy reach of Dublin and the coast. Recommended 👍👍”

“Convenient location to the old Glendalough monastery. Walkable to restaurants or pubs. Clean and quiet. Unfortunately, we couldn’t stay for breakfast.”

“Although the rooms were nice and spacious, as an older couple it was difficult for us with the bar Party going in until 2:30 am. They were gracious to give us earplugs. The young folks really love it. It’s directly across from the beach. A train comes into Bray, so if you know how to use trains you could probably come there from the airport by train.”

“This hotel is fine. The rooms are spacious. The free breakfast is quite grand and the food is decent, my only complaint would be the coffee, it was really watery. This is a no-frills stay that is fine for travelers, and the rates are reasonable.”

“Comfortable room with all the basic necessities in place. Friendly owner and staff. Close to bus stop for buses that take you to city centre. While the DART station is slightly far away, it’s a nice 20-minute walk in the neighbourhood (and through a lovely little park). I was spoilt by the delicious breakfast every morning! ”

“Just has a nice view of the hotel. But this hotel only has the basic facitilities. Basic room with a bed, closet and a small table. ”

“The room was okay, it had a bad smell (I think it was the carpet) but we got used to it. There was only bath towels, no hand towels. The view was amazing. The restaurant downstairs was amazing. We did not spend a lot of time in the hotel, and more in the surrounding area, so that smell did not take the score down too low :)”

“Musty odor through out the hallway. The toilet felt like it was going to just come off the wall each time I sat on it. I weigh under 190lbs for reference. The room was very dim and the window barely opened a crack making no air flow an option. Overall, I would never stay again seeing and knowing from experience. One positive thing was we were able to walk to near by restaurants and pubs.”

“The room was clean and staff was excellent. However, there are no ice machines in the hotel. To get ice you have to call the restaurant and they will only bring up one bucket at a cost of €7. There are no refrigerators in the room either or microwave. Very basic and not like in the US AND Canada.”
